Today I decided to shut everything off for a few hours and dedicate myself to making this meal. Normally I'd throw some peanut butter on pita bread for lunch but I had time so I figured I'd concoct something more elaborate. This is a mix of fresh mushrooms, olives, shrimp, cilantro, alfredo sauce and pasta!
The only way I've ever ever cooked shrimp is a 4 step process:
1. Slice onions into thick sections and layer at the bottom of a saucepan.
2. Throw in fresh or frozen shrimp (doesn't matter...it will steam either way)
3. Coat the shrimp in cumin powder!
4. Add a small amount of water and steam for 10 minutes (per pound)

That's pretty much it. It seems to work every single time. Share your methods if you have anything interesting! I'm sure there's more I could be doing...
The veggies got a very different treatment. I hand sliced the mushroom into thick slices and just threw the olives into a food processor for olive bits. Then they were both tossed into a saucepan and sautéed for a few minutes.
I topped the dish of with some cilantro because I like seeing green in my food. Done!
Om nom nom.

Super lovely food! I think I shud give a try on them <3
